The Daily Recap: Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026

Folks, it’s Kacee. Three stories on the site since last night’s recap, so let’s walk through them.

Washington Post says Laura Loomer took undisclosed payments to post political messages. The Washington Post reported Saturday that private clients paid Laura Loomer to publish political posts on X without public disclosure, citing a former Trump campaign aide and three other people familiar with the arrangements. According to summaries of the Post’s story, the paper examined records that appeared to reflect four transfers since May 2025 worth more than $60,000 in all, and two sources put the price of a post at $3,000 to $5,000. Loomer denies it, telling the paper, “I’m not some influencer that makes money from tweeting,” and the Kacee Allen Network has not independently verified the arrangements or the payment records.

Eight votes, a tie and a quarter: Kentucky’s closest county races head toward the recanvass deadline. Several county races in Eastern Kentucky were decided by fewer than 50 votes in unofficial returns, with the tightest being Knott County’s 4th District magistrate seat, where Republican Kevin Huff led Democratic incumbent Calvin Waddles by eight votes. In Robertson County, a 91-91 magistrate tie was broken with a coin toss using a quarter supplied by the sheriff, and the coin landed tails, giving Democrat Kristen Fryman the seat. Candidates have until 4 p.m. on Nov. 10 to request a recanvass, and every margin stays unofficial until certification.

After a close Florida race, Luna posts a pledge against corporate PAC and foreign-policy money. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., said on X that she will no longer accept corporate PAC money or special-interest money tied to foreign policy, after a narrow win for a third House term in Florida’s 13th District. Spectrum Bay News 9 reported that with 99% of the vote counted she led Democrat Leela Gray by 2,517 votes. I quote-tweeted her that evening, and my reference to AIPAC is my own read, since her announcement does not name AIPAC.
