Kacee Allen Network respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same of everyone who uses KaceeAllen.com (the “Site”). We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

How to file a takedown notice

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, email our designated contact at [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice” and include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is fine).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on the Site where the allegedly infringing material appears.
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

What happens next

We review every complete notice, typically within 5 business days. If the notice is valid, we will remove or disable access to the material and make a reasonable effort to notify the person who posted it. Incomplete notices may not be acted on; we will reply asking for the missing details.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the subject “DMCA Counter-Notice”, including: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or any judicial district in which we may be found if you are outside the U.S.). We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers and misuse

We may remove content from, or end access for, anyone who repeatedly infringes. Knowingly false notices or counter-notices may expose the sender to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Fair use and embeds

Our news and commentary may quote brief excerpts or show short clips for reporting, criticism and commentary.
